Bifold Doors
We design and manufacture our bifold doors, many of which have been in service for over 50 years, as fully-integrated components of our hangar buildings. These bifolds are available in clear dimensions of 42' x 12', 44' x 14' and 48' x 14' and furnished with nine of our standard hangar models.
Bifold Door Features
Door Operator
Our doors are powered by a 1 horsepower, single phase electric motor, worm gear speed reducer and dual chain drive. This operator is prewired and assembled in our factory for simple field installation, and includes limit switches to prevent over travel and potential damage in either direction.
Low Voltage Push Button Control
Our bifold doors are operated by a 24-volt push button control that we supply with each door. The push buttons require the user to apply constant pressure to prevent movement under the door during operation for the safety of tenants and equipment.
Side Locks & Cane Bolts
Cable controlled side locks and cane bolts release automatically as the user remains at the push button control location. This feature vastly reduces the potential for damage present in manually locked systems.
Access Doors
Each bifold includes a 3' wide, pre-hung personnel door equipped with spring-loaded hinges and an individually and master-keyed, Series 4000, Grade 2, commercial grade lockset.

Routine maintenance and trouble-shooting of our bifold doors is made simple by referring to our Bifold Door Maintenance Manual. Our field personnel are also available to consult with you on-site.
